Maths: Maths homework will either be set on MyMaths or a worksheet sent home, we will let you know through Marvellous Me. Times table grids will also be sent home weekly, the children should practice these for 15 minutes. The children also have access to TTRockstars, where they can take part in times table challenges.

Spelling: The children will be set new spelling words each week. The children will take these home on Wednesday and be tested on them the following week.

Reading: Reading records will be sent home with each child and children are required to try to read a few times a week. Spring Reading Target

This spring term, we are encouraging all children to take part in our Reading Reward Challenge. To earn a reward, children need to complete 50 reads by Wednesday 18th March.

If your child achieved a Bronze Reading award last term, and reaches the target again, they will receive a Silver award. If your child did not earn a Bronze award last term but meets the target this term, they will receive their Bronze award. Thank you for your continued support with reading at home.

Reading Targets

Reading at home is always greatly encouraged, and to support this children can work towards earning an award at the end of each term. This year, children will work towards earning Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
Reading awards will be presented at the end of each term in the Governors' Assembly.

Autumn Term target - 60 days of reading recorded
Spring Term - 50 days of reading recorded
Summer Term -  60 days of reading recorded.

At the start of each term, the reading count will begin from zero.
If your child is successful in all three terms, they will receive a 'Reading Year' award at the end of the school year.
