Autumn 1 - It's Fantastic to be me
This term we had so much fun getting to know each other, exploring friendships and settling into school. We explored ourselves, family and how everyone is unique. We started to practice our numbers, learn our sounds and created different art work.
Autumn 2 Quest - Celebrations
We have had fun exploring and learning about different celebrations. We looked at Bonfire night, Diwali, Christmas and many other celebrations. Together we looked at how we celebrate, how different people celebrate and the reasons behind traditions. We made fireworks names, biscuits and used many different colours. A Diwali party with dancing and food tasting was a highlight along with Christmas celebrations. We worked hard across the term doing many different activities and learning to enhance our literacy, Maths and all areas of development. Our writing is becoming more clear, our reading brilliant and Maths skills building.
