Through the teaching of Art at Ascot Heath, we aim to engage, inspire and challenge all pupils giving them the knowledge, the practical skills and the confidence to experiment, invent and create, to have a go, drawing inspiration from artists of the past, present, different cultures and gender and from the world around them, producing a piece of work of which they can be very proud and the resilience to receive positive criticism. Above all we believe that children should leave us knowing there is no such thing as ‘correct’ art.
