Our Vision
At Ascot Heath Primary School, we aim to provide our children with musical experiences that help them to develop their confidence, communication, thinking and creative skills and experience an overall enjoyment of music. During their time at our school, children are given a wide range of opportunities and the freedom to express themselves through musical outlets.
We believe that music is an important aspect of life, primarily because it supports children’s emotional well-being and mental health. So, at our school, music is often a fun subject which children will find enjoyable and relaxing.
By the time they leave us, all children will have experienced a sense of pride and achievement in their musical ability. Furthermore, it is our vision that every child will develop an understanding and love of music, which they can carry with them for the rest of their lives allowing them to express themselves through music whenever they want to and bang their own drum whenever they need to.
